Website Terms and Conditions of Use
This document (together with the documents referred to in it) constitutes the terms and conditions for the website “www.facetime.org.uk” (“the Site”) and the terms and conditions on which you may make use of it (whether as a guest or as a member/account holder in respect of the Site).
The Site is wholly owned and is operated by (or on behalf of) Events Industry Alliance Limited. Our full details, together with contact details are set out above. It is important to remember that by using the Site and any of the products or services available via the Site you agree to be bound by and act in accordance with these terms and conditions. Privacy is important to us
We follow the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and we are listed on the public register of data controllers maintained by the Information Commissioner.
By using the Site and sending us your information you agree to be bound by our website terms and conditions of use and the terms of this privacy policy. We collect personal details, such as your email or postal address and name when you become a member by filling in forms on the Site. Other information is requested only when you register for a course, for competitions and promotions, and when you sign up to receive email updates or download resources.

If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. We may also keep a record of details of your visits to the Site, including details of resources that you choose to access.

We'll only use your data when you have given us permission to do so e.g. by ticking the box in a competition or ticking any of the options within a booking process. But remember, if you're registering specifically to hear from us, we'll take this as your consent to our using such information as we may need to contact you for this purpose, so we won't ask you to tick 'yes' or 'no'.
You must choose a Username and Password when you become a member of the Site and provide those to us. Your information is therefore password-protected but in order to maintain this protection, we advise you not to provide your password to anyone. We do not give your password to anyone. We recommend that, if you share your computer with other people, you close your browser window when your session is completed. Signing off will protect your information if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place like a library.

Reasons why we like to know you better
